A rare book in Hebrew, more than 300 years old, was found in a tomb on the farm of a resident of the Libyan city of Tripoli during excavations to extract groundwater. It is believed to belong to immigrants from Andalusia who escaped from the Inquisition. It was found with a number of other holdings. The book is in good condition, hand bound with clear inks.

Approximate measurements: 16 cm long. 10 cm wide. 7 mm thick.
