Eclipse Red Ring DE Safety Razor 1930

A shaving classic, the Eclipse Red Ring double edge safety razor was produced in Sheffield England from the 1930's till early 40's. A popular vintage DE razor, it features original chrome plating and a blade retrieving magnet in handle base. Features tension/adjustment indicating notches with arrow at handle base. Capable of a mild, comfortable shave when fully tightened to a more aggressive shave when tightened and backed off one or two notches. This is the version of the razor with the unstamped top cap and only has “Eclipse” stamped onto the handle. Chrome plating in very nice condition. A very nice example of a popular and collectible shaving classic.
