Cylinder seal with a seated god, figures, and an inscription
Description:
The scene depicted on this seal shows a bearded seated god raising his arm. In front of the seated god, there is an inverted crescent, and beneath the crescent, a bird is depicted. Standing before the god is a second figure wearing a long robe, with arms crossed at mid-abdomen. Behind this second figure is a tall staff topped with an inverted crescent. Finally, behind the staff stands a third figure, also wearing a long robe, with both arms raised. The scene also includes two registers of cuneiform inscriptions.
